Database of wildlife images includes a chapter on globally endangered species and another on British endangered species (then choose plants and algae); information on the threats facing species and conservation work, with links to relevant organisations. ARKive is keen to add images of more species to this database. Compiled on behalf of the Government by a partnership between the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Plantlife International and the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. Current situation and action needed to attain each of the 16 targets by 2010 is outlined. Progress to be reported every 2 years: in 2006, 2008 and 2010. In a table of organisations contributing to target implementation, PlantNetwork is listed for targets 3, 8, 14, 15 and 16.
