PlantNetwork Propagators’ Forum
9.30am–4.30pm Tuesday 20 April 2010
Duchy College Rosewarne
Ros Smith, Head of Micropropagation at the College, has been developing techniques for the micropropagation of a range of rare and endangered plant species, especially rhododendrons and magnolias. Working with the National Trust and other gardens in Cornwall and throughout the country, she’s been successful in propagating plants from their gardens, particularly those affected by Phytophthora. ramorum and P. kernoviae.
