GUIDING PRINCIPLES BEHIND THE COLLECTION:
The (New World) Salvias are an excellent collection for a College: the tender and hardy varieities are an always inspiring/educational resource for students and Visitors. With commercial pressures of the present climate it is always good to have an exotic plant such as the winter flowering Salvias.
